Graph-Ex™ is a soybean inoculant and seed lubricant formulated for maximum yield advantage and innovative planter protection. Graph-Ex™ for Soybeans is the first soybean inoculant designed to make planting better. The proof is in the planter.

Bradyrhizobia Inoculant

Bradyrhizobia are soil bacteria that fix nitrogen after becoming established inside root nodules of legumes. Rhizobia require a plant host; they cannot independently fix nitrogen. Our proprietary Bradyrhizobia for soybeans are specific to these crops in helping the plant to establish nitrogen fixing nodules that will convert atmospheric nitrogen to nitrogen that is useable by the plant.

Untraditional Benefits

Graph-Ex™ for Soybeans is NOT a PEAT product formulation. Graph-Ex™ for Soybeans does NOT put wear and tear on your meters. Graph-Ex™ for Soybeans does NOT buildup in the planter. Unlike liquid inoculants, Graph-Ex™ for Soybeans does NOT cause bridging. Graph-Ex™ for Soybeans DOES have a LOW use rate.

Better Seed Flowability

Graph-Ex™ for Soybeans uses an innovative talc-graphite carrier for increased seed flowability with high adhesion and low use rates. Seed pre-treated with fungicide/insecticide packages often has rough seed surfaces that can interfere with seed flowability.

Talc/Graphite Benefit

The talc/graphite formulation not only increases seed flowability, but also helps to lubricate the planter equipment. This is important, as it will minimize seed hang-ups in your equipment and reduces the wear and tear on your units.

Increase Soybean Yields

Over the last 4 years, Graph-Ex™ for Soybeans has averaged yield increases of 2.3 bushels per acre. Growers have reported increases in yield as high as just over 5 bushels per acre. Graph-Ex™ for Soybeans delivers what the grower needs: a return on investment.

Applications

Application Rate

Graph-Ex™ for Soybeans is a planter box treatment that can be added just before planting at the planter box. It consists of a talc/graphite formulation as the carrier for the Bradyrhizobia. You will add .5 oz. of Graph-Ex™ for Soybeans to every unit of seed you add to your drill/planter. Make sure to mix Graph-Ex™ for Soybeans thoroughly with the seed. Refer to the Graph-Ex™ for Soybeans label for specific rates and directions for use.


To maximize yield potential, ABM recommends a double (2x) inoculant rate when planting soybeans under the following soil conditions:

  1. Soil that has not hosted the specific legume for more than 3 years.
  2. Soil pH of less than 5.8 or greater than 8.5
  3. Organic matter less than 1%
  4. Drought or flooding
  5. Soil Temperatures exceeding 80 degrees F
  6. Eroded soil
  7. Use of soil treatments and chemicals injurious to soil bacteria and inoculants
